FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) How does payment work for direct bookings?

Payment is due in full to secure your dates. We accept Venmo and Zelle for direct bookings.

2) What is your cancellation policy for direct bookings?

30+ days before check-in: full refund.

22–29 days before check-in: 50% refund.

Within 21 days of check-in: non-refundable.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of unexpected changes, delays, or cancellations. Travel insurance can cover situations such as illness, family emergencies, or flight disruptions that fall outside of our refund window.

3) Do you allow pets?

Yes. We allow up to 2 dogs (35 lbs or less each) with an $85 pet fee per stay. Please review our pet rules before booking.

4) What are the pet rules?

Leash required outdoors • Must be housebroken • Keep pets off upholstered furniture and bedding • Pets can not be left unattended • Barking must be kept under control • Pet waste must be picked up and thrown out

Flea/tick prevention recommended.

5) Is Flea/Tick treatment required?

While it’s not required, we strongly recommend treating your pet with a vet-approved flea and tick preventative prior to your stay. Preventatives are the best defense and can help avoid discomfort (and an unpleasant surprise when you get home). More Flea & Tick Info

6) Can we exceed the maximum occupancy?

No. For safety, insurance, and occupancy rules, we can’t exceed the maximum guest count. Only registered guests are permitted on the property.

7) Can I smoke on the porch or in the yard?

Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the property — including in the house, porches, yard, fire pit area, and all other outdoor spaces. Smoking is permitted at the park across the street.

8) Is there boat/trailer parking nearby?

Yes! There is public boat/trailer parking across the street. Availability can vary by season, so please plan accordingly. Boats/Trailers/RV's cannot be parking in front of the house, in the driveway or in the yard per Village ordinance.

9) Is the cottage fisherman-friendly?

Yes. We’re close to great fishing access, and we have simple guidelines to keep the cottage fresh and comfortable for everyone. Please review our Angler's Guidelines before your stay.

10) How do I book?

Easy! Choose your unit and check availability, then submit your request for pricing and date confirmation.
