ANGLER'S GUIDELINES

We’re excited to host you for your fishing trip!
To keep the cottage fresh and comfortable for all guests, please review and acknowledge these guidelines:

  • All fish cleaning and gutting must be done at the designated dock stations (not inside the house).

  • Please rinse and store gear outside — either on the porch or basement hooks provided. An outdoor hose is available for your use during non-freezing weather.

  • Wet jackets, clothing, shoes, or boots should stay off the furniture and floors. Wall hooks and an entry rug are provided by the door.

  • Bait should be stored in the cooler on the porch, not in the kitchen fridge.

  • No fish waste, used freezer paper, or remains should go in indoor trash or sinks.

  • If prepping fish to cook, please use freezer paper on counters and dispose of used paper in sealed freezer bags in the outdoor trash bin.

  • Please don’t use the wood countertops as a cutting board. Cutting boards are provided.

Boat Parking: Our driveway cannot accommodate boat/trailer parking. Unfortunately, boat/trailer parking on the street is not permitted either under village ordinance. There are however, two public lots for boat parking, subject to availability (first come, first serve):

  1. Closest lot is directly across the street from the cottage.

  2. Another lot is located about two blocks down the road.

For Your Convenience

We provide a small cooler on the porch, freezer paper, and gallon ziplock bags to cover countertops, and dispose of fishy things while cooking.

Kristy Lamb will be not be "on-site" but will be your main contact and resolution coordinator
